On 09/22/2018, gun fire erupted outside the sunrise bar. Ms. Shantia peterson was sitting in a chair in the parking lot of the same address and was struck one time in the neck. Ms. Peterson was transported to grant hospital and is listed in extremely critical condition. Ms. Peterson had been hospitalized at mount carmel saint ann's as a direct result of the injuries she sustained during this incident. On 6/15/2020, 30yr old shantia peterson succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased. On 6/18/2020 ,ms. Peterson's death was ruled a homicide by the franklin county coroner's office.Agency
