On saturday, june 7, 2003, ivan beaza-garcia exited the barber shop in the far east side asian center near the intersection of west alameda avenue and federal boulevard. Mr. Beaza-garcia became involved in a verbal altercation with an individual later identified as juan carballo jr. As the argument escalated, the suspect carballo jr. Armed himself with a handgun and shot mr. Beaza-garcia to death. After the shooting mr. Carballo jr., also known as "Bananas", fled the area in a sport utility vehicle. Currently, a warrant for juan carballo jr. Has been issued for the investigation of first degree murder. Anyone having additional information on this case or knowledge of the current whereabouts of juan carballo jr. Is asked to call the denver police department.
