On september 17, 1972, 19 year old peter glaser was found with severe head injuries at his place of employment, philips and andersons lakewood tire and wheel, located at 6321 w. Alameda ave., just prior to midnight. It was originally investigated as an industrial accident. Three days later, further x-rays revealed mr. Glaser had been shot. It was also later determined the business had been robbed. Glaser remained alive in a vegetative state until 2003 when he died.
