On june 19, 2014, at approximately 2245 hours, officers were dispatched to 801 downing street in reference to a shooting that just occurred. Turner's stepfather heard the front door open then heard several gunshots fired. Turner was located at the front door by his stepfather suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Turner was transported to riverside hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Turner's good friend was shot the day before. It was thought turner's death may stem from a shooting that occurred at a local carnival a year earlier.Agency
