On wednesday, october 22, 2008, henrico police responded to 216 engleside dr., apt. 2-b for a welfare check. Officers knocked on the door but there was no answer. Officers went to the rear of the apartment and located a black male lying just inside the sliding glass door. The victim, identified as michael antonio bowles, was transported to the medical examiner's office for further examination. The medical examiner determined the cause of death to be from a gunshot wound.Agency
