21 year old bruce parsons arrived in denver from the state of maine in the summer of 1977. On august 3, 1977, bruce parsons and a friend were camped out in front of the saint andrews church, located near the intersection of 20th and glenarm streets. Without any warning, an unknown suspect(s) beat both bruce parsons and his friend. His friend survived, but bruce parsons was struck in the head with a blunt object and died at the scene.
