Description: Warrant Arrest, MICS 4: On 07-30-26, Troopers assigned to the Highway Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge SUV at mile 68 of the Seward Hwy for multiple violations. The driver was identified as a subject, age 37, of Barrow. Daniel was in absconder status from Anchorage probation and had an active warrant for his arrest. a subject was arrested for the warrant and remanded to the Anchorage Jail. The Dodge was impounded pending a search warrant. On 08-03-26, an approved search warrant was executed to search for the Dodge. A total of just over 14 grams of methamphetamine was located. On 08-05-26, Daniel was still in custody at the Anchorage Jail, and he was remanded on a new felony charge of MICS 4. Daniel was held pending arraignment on the new charge.
