Description: Aggravated Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer / Reckless Driving. Des Plaines Police were on patrol in the area of Lee Street and Oakton Street when a black Cadillac Escalade was seen traveling east on Oakton Street into the oncoming traffic lanes. It also appeared as though the vehicle was displaying fictious Texas registration plates. The officer pulled behind the Cadillac and activated his overhead emergency lights when the vehicle then disobeyed the lights and started to flee south onto Lee Street at a high rate of speed making multiple traffic violations. The officer disengaged with the vehicle at that time and was last seen near Mannheim Road and Touhy Avenue.
