Description: Domestic Battery. Des Plaines Police responded to the 1100 Block of Holiday Lane for the report of a domestic incident. When the officers arrived, they located the above individual [individual], who was outside arguing with a female. Officers separated the two and learned that the female, later identified as the victim, shared a previous relationship with [individual]. During an argument, [individual] punched her in the chest. A witness to the incident stated the same as the victim when [individual] was then taken into custody. He was transported to the Des Plaines Police station where he was subsequently arrested for one misdemeanor count of Domestic Battery. [individual] was later brought to a Cook County courthouse for a detention hearing.
