At approximately 6:50 pm, two adult males showed up at uab hospital, via private vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased. The second male suffered a non-life-threatening gun-shot injury. Bpd officers responded to uab hospital to gather information. The preliminary investigation suggests the victims were travelling in a vehicle near the 400 block of orchid road when they were fired upon by a suspect(s) in a separate vehicle. Based on the facts gathered during this investigation, this incident does not appear to be random. The motive is still undetermined.Agency
