On the night of july 4th, at about 8:30, kansas city police, fire and emt units were called to scarritt and n. Wheeling on an injury accident. The victim, 34 year-old victorino v. Perez, was found lying in the grass near the passenger side of his truck. The truck was parked facing west on scarritt, east of wheeling. While tending to the victim paramedics found that he had been shot and stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene. What had been dispatched as an accident was now a murder scene.Agency
