On august 24th, 2002, 71 year-old shirley mckeown set out from her home to help her daughter at her house in midtown kansas city. She was never heard from again. On september 3rd, 2002, her car was found concealed behind a vacant house at 33rd and highland. Due to the amount of her blood and other evidence found in the car, the case was ruled a homicide investigation. Her body still has not been found and no arrests have been made.
