On the evening of october 10, 1970, 55 year old, ralph fontine and his wife were sitting inside of their home when unknown suspect(s) fired a shot into their home. The bullet struck mr. Fontine in the head. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where doctors were able to stabilize him. Mr. Fontine was subsequently transferred to craig rehabilitation center but died as a result of his injuries on the morning of christmas eve.
