On february 24, 1995, officers were called to the shamrock gas station on a report of an injured person. Officers observed the victim lying in front of his vehicle. It appeared he had been shot through the back of the head. The victim was transported to denver general hospital where he was treated. The victim did communicate by hand written notes. However, he was unable to provide any suspect information. The mother of the victim as well as the girlfriend were interviewed. The victim died as a result of a brain infection secondary to the gunshot wound. A suspect lead was developed. Detectives stahl and day interviewed numerous witnesses. The suspect had an alibi on the day of the shooting. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the aurora police department.Agency
