Description: UNASSIGNED1 SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT: On July 27, 2026, I, SGT. K. Kelley, took a lobby report regarding a suspicious incident. Upon making contact with the complainant, Laurie Jewell, she stated that she received a message from her ex-boyfriend, Donald Lindsey, with whom she has had previous problems and has had removed from her home by the Sheriff's Office. Ms. Jewell mentioned that Mr. Lindsey claimed to have seen her that day and stated that he missed her. However, Ms. Jewell clarified that there was no way Mr. Lindsey could have seen her, as she had not left her home at all that day. Ms. Jewell reported that after blocking the number from which Mr. Lindsey had texted her, she received a threatening message from an unknown number. She believes this might be Mr. Lindsey and expressed her desire to file a report so she could pursue a temporary protective order (TPO) against him.
