Description: BMV: Officers were dispatched to the 5900 block of Lake Street to an attempted burglary of a motor vehicle that had already occurred. Upon investigation, it was found an unknown suspect forcefully entered the vehicle in attempt to take items. Bystanders were able to deter the theft from happening which led to the suspect fleeing the scene without any items.
