Description: Phone Scam: The complainant stated she received a phone call from someone claiming to be a bank representative. The subject told the complainant she was a victim of identity theft and she needed to move money out of her account to protect it. The complainant followed the instructions and transferred $18,000.00 out of her account to an account number that was given to her. When she never received her money back she realized she had been scammed.
