At 12:44 am a shot spotter notification alerted multiple shots had been fired in the area. Upon arrival west precinct officers observed a running vehicle at the edge of a driveway. Inside the victim was seated in the driver’s seat suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.Birmingham fire and rescue service responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
