Description: Arrest. Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area., Betterton for a traffic violation. During a roadside interview, indicators of impairment were observed. The driver performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested. He provided a chemical breath test which yielded a result above .08 BAC and was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se and other traffic charges. Subject was released after being issued citations.

On tuesday, may 7th, 2013 at approximately 11:14 PM., police responded to a shooting in the area of 758 christiana road, cedar wood apartments in newark delaware. The victim was discovered lying on the ground motionless while in front of a building. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead as a result of a gunshot wound to his upper body. Police are investigating robbery as a possible motive.Agency
