On the early morning hours of july 6, 1982, 69 year old robert stack was asleep in his capitol hill apartment when an unknown intruder broke into his residence. Without provocation, the suspect physically attacked mr. Stack. A neighbor heard the commotion and came to the aid of mr. Stack. Due to the severity of mr. Stack's injuries, he was immediately transported to a local hospital. For the next three months, mr. Stack fought to survive but died on october 13, 1982. The suspect in this case remains unknown.
