Roman hall jr. Date of homicide: 8-6-2011 case number: 11-35394 at approximately 0025 hours (25 after midnight) the neighbor heard a gunshot that sounded really close to her window, in the 5700 block of 7th st e, in bradenton, fl. She stepped out the back door to check on her dogs and saw a tall slim build black male running east through the victims back yard toward the alley. The neighbor then observed the victim lying on the ground outside his back door and called 911. Deputies arrived on scene and began cpr until ems arrived. The victim had a gunshot wound on the side of his head. The victim was pronounced deceased at 0048 hours. Several doors inside the house appeared to have been kicked in, the front bedroom window was broken, and there was evidence that someone had gone through the window. It appears that the victim came home and possibly interrupted a burglary. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the manatee county sheriff's office at (941) 747-3011.
