On the evening of august 24, 1984, 35 year old don tuming was confronted by a group of unknown suspects near the empress theater. During the attack, don tuming was not only robbed, but severely beaten. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where his condition was listed as critical. Nearly four months later, don tuming died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the assault.
