On july 5, 1987, karolyn walker's body was found in a ditch near the 21100 block of east colfax avenue. Cause of death was strangulation and a blow to the head. On the previous night, july 4th, karolyn walker had been with her boyfriend. She borrowed his vehicle and left his residence in the 1600 block of moline street. On july 7, 1987 the boyfriend recovered his vehicle, which was parked in the lot of an apartment building at 13th and colorado boulevard. Crime stoppers has been utilized in this case.
