On august 8, 2011, a shooting occurred on interstate 264 east at ballentine boulevard in the city of norfolk. Four occupants in a ford expedition were shot at by an unknown individual in a separate vehicle. One of the occupants, timothy v. Jenkins was struck and killed during the shooting.
