68 year old herbert goossen worked at a local supply company as a salesman. He lived alone in his apartment, which was located just south of city park. On july 19, 1983 after hearing a continuous barking dog emanating from mr. Goossen's apartment, fellow tenants became concerned and entered the apartment to check on his well-being. It was at this time mr. Goossen was found deceased inside of his residence. The cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation.
