On july 20, 1985, ralph ramirez had been visiting friends who lived in the lincoln park neighborhood. During the course of the evening ralph was involved in a confrontation with two individuals on mariposa street. One of these individuals was armed with a knife and stabbed ralph. The two men fled on foot before authorities could arrive. Ralph was transported to denver health medical center where he died as a result of his injuries. Ralph was known for having a big heart as he was a licensed practical nurse (lpn), working with elderly and disabled populations.
