On february 12, 1971, a 53 year old father of one, lloyd samuelson was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds inside his residence. Mr. Samuelson did not report to work. The principal at palmer high school became concerned because mr. Samuelson was always at work at 7:15 a.M. He and a faculty member went to check on mr. Samuelson at his home. They immediately called the police. Upon investigation, policed discovered a next door neighbor witnessed mr. Samuelson having dinner with an unknown person the night before and saw mr. Samuelson pulling into his driveway after dinner. It is believed he was shot later that evening in his own home.
