On 08-15-87 the body of earl ervin was found inside of the solid waste division facility located at 2727 municipal way at approximately 8:00 p.M. This date was a saturday and there were no employees working. Ervin had phone contact with a supervisor in the early afternoon. The initial investigation revealed several persons of interest. There was a call from a black female to 911 several days after the incident occurred who wished to remain anonymous and she provided some information. It is believed that this female may have more information to provide, however at the time of the investigation this female was never identified or interviewed.
