Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 35-year-old Fred Gonzalez of South Hill. On the night of Wednesday June 13th, 2012, the body of victim Fred Gonzalez was found in the back of Gonzalez’s blue Cadillac Escalade truck. The truck was found in a parking lot of an apartment building in the 2200 block of 99th St. S. In Tacoma. Detectives believe Gonzalez was shot in the head by unidentified suspects(s), then put in the back of his truck before the vehicle was abandoned by the suspect(s). Fred Gonzalez’s family reported him missing on the night of Tuesday June 12th after he failed to return home and had not been seen or heard from in several hours. Detectives are looking for any information on the victim’s whereabouts in the days before his body was found, and/or suspicious persons seen in the area where the truck was located.
