Double homicide on aug. 29, 1996, heather johnson, 7, and cynthia johnson, 34, her mother were murdered in their own home on w. Junaluska drive in south richmond. Their home was set on fire to cover the crime. Cynthia johnson was last talked to on aug. 29, 1996, just a short time prior to the fire. This double homicide is one of richmond's most horrific murders. It is believed that cynthia johnson knew the killer(s) and police need your help in solving this case. The police have compiled a great deal of information on this case and need you to help us bring it to a successful close. We believe someone knows who the suspects are and can help solve this case. If you have any information about this case no matter how small or unimportant you believe it is, we want you to call us and pass that information on to us.
