Marie techlowec nielsen's body was found by her teenaged son on june 18, 1987 after he gained entrance to their new britain apartment through a window. (he had earlier given his key to the apartment to his mother who had locked her keys in her car.) the victim's body was found face down on the bed in her bedroom. The cause of death was determined to be asphyxia by strangulation.
