On march 17, 2022, at 9:50pm, patrol officers responded to the area of s high and e innis ave. On a male down and out, possibly a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 18yr old demarion alexander, in front of the 1700 block of south high st. Suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Mr. Alexander was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving emergency medical care, mr. Alexander was pronounced deceased at 10:22pm.
