On august 8, 2005, at about 1:19 a.M., officers responded to the 200 block of sw washington street on the report of a possible gang shooting. Upon arrival, the victim, adrian ramon bible, a 29-year-old african-american male, was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots from multiple blocks from sw washington st to 3rd ave. They also reported seeing two vehicles speeding away from the scene, with gunshots being fired from the vehicles possibly at each other. One of the vehicles was described as being a white suv last seen heading west on washington street. The other vehicle was described as being a sedan-type vehicle last seen headed eastbound on washington st. Mr. Bible was thought to have been shot due to some sort of gang dispute. The cold case unit would like anyone with information regarding this case to contact them.
