Deputies responded to a man down call in the parking lot of 2015 south orange blossom trail. Upon arrival they observed a black male unresponsive in the parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was identified as xavier mathis who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the orange county sheriff's office at (407) 836 4357.
