On january 20, 1949, 18 year old walter parsons was found on the side of the road by a couple driving up to the garden of the gods. An autopsy concluded that cause of death was strangulation and blunt force trauma. Mr. Parsons resided in a cabin just south of the red cloud inn, cascade, co. The owners of the inn employed him. A thorough search of mr. Parsons' residence did not turn up anything of evidentiary value. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the el paso county sheriff's office.
