Info

Kevin eugene baker, 29, was shot and killed february 3, 1991. He was shot in the head at close range by a gunman trying to rob the the winn-dixie at u.S. 17 and kingsley ave at closing time. Andre antonitis clemons of jacksonville was charged with killing baker. He stood trial three times with each ending in a mistrial. Prosecutors declined to pursue it again. With no physical evidence or eyewitness testimony the prosecution's case was based on inmate testimony claiming clemons bragged about baker's killing.
