On 4/19/08, at approximately 2328, the jacksonville sheriff's office responded to the report of someone shot at 3127 edison avenue. The victim was found shot, lying on the roadway . She was transported to shands hospital where she died. According to a witness, the victim was talking with an individual when the suspect, a young black male, rode up on a bicycle. After a few minutes the suspect produced a firearm and shot the victim. The suspect then fled west on edison avenue.
