Info

On may 25th of 2008 an off duty kansas city, kansas police officer was working at the brass ring at 57th and state when a patron began causing a disturbance. The officer escorted the man outside where he entered his truck. The truck was a red 1990’s ford f150 similar to the one shown in the photo. As the man drove from the parking lot he fired several shots at the officer. All of those shots missed but one struck a bar patron, 30 year-old jose moreno, who died from his wound. The officer and witnesses described the suspect as a hispanic male, 24-29 years old, 5’6” to 5’9” and 150 to 160 lbs. He had tattoos on both forearms of unknown words in “old english” type script. Police developed a sketch from the witness descriptions. Witnesses said the suspect had also been seen around the oasis and barcelona bars in kcmo.
