Karen had been strangled and her throat was slashed.Karen was born with severe hearing loss. She was enrolled in a lansing school system hearing impaired program at the age of 2 ½. With the help of hearing aids, many hours spent mastering her lip-reading skills and some very dedicated teachers, karen was successfully integrated into regular elementary school with her hearing friends.Agency
