Rene combs' body was found august 12, 1991. Her nude body was discovered hidden by foliage in a wooded lot off holt rd. In southwestern franklin county. Rene had been strangled and struck on the head with a blunt object. Rene combs was last seen alive on august 4, 1991 when she left home to visit a cousin. Her gmc jimmy truck was found abandoned three days later at the regency arms apartment complex on parlin drive in grove city. The events leading up to her death are sketchy, therefore, investigators are attempting to locate anyone who had contact with rene before her death or who may have information regarding her murder.
