On september 21, 2014 at approximately 7:32 p.M., the lvmpd dispatch received a 911 call reference someone being shot in the 5200 block of stampa ave. Patrol officers and medical personnel responded and discovered jose hernandez-pena, 16 years of age, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and became the victim of a homicide. Homicide detectives learned the shooting took place at the intersection of westbound sahara ave and decatur boulevard. Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a dark colored sedan with black rims and chrome trim. The suspect was described as a hispanic male 20-25 years of age.Agency
