The victim was reported missing (endangered) on June 17, 1992. She was last seen by her mother in April 1992. There was information that she may have been murdered and left near a river bank. Katrina had a tough life in Woonsocket, RI. When she went missing, she mentioned that she wished to leave the City and start a new life. She also uses the name Katrina Miller and Katrina Hines.
