On the evening of may 3, 1978 members of the denver police department were called to an apartment building located near the intersections of 22nd and california streets on a report of a dead body. Upon arrival officers located 61 year old richard huggins suffering from stab wounds. Mr. Huggins later died from his injuries. The suspect(s) responsible for this murder have not been identified.
