Benjamin was working as a street vendor selling various food products and other sundries from his vehicle. While conducting business in the parking lot of "Pjs" lounge, an unknown male party became involved in an argument with benjamin. It was during this time that benjamin was shot. After being transported to a nearby hospital, benjamin died as a result of the gun shot wounds he sustained.
