On 8/13/1974 at approx. 9:50am, officers with the colorado springs police department were dispatched to the wrigley warehouse grocery store located at 2518 airport road, colorado springs, colorado reference a robbery and shooting. When the officers arrived they found the body of a male with an apparent gunshot wound, lying on the floor in the grocery store near the manager's stand. The victim was identified as charles mclaughlin, an employee of the grocery store and the shooting was determined to be the result of a robbery.
