The child had to use the bathroom, so alvarez stopped and got out of the car with him.As they stood next to a tree at 910 w. 100 south, a bronco drove up and two men with guns jumped out and started shooting. None of the bullets hit the little boy. Alvarez was struck and fell to the ground.
