On april 26, 2002, at 1:53 p.M., officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance assault call at 5400 tracy. When officers arrived they found one victim who was alive, sitting on the living room floor covered in blood. The second victim, who was identified as 41-year-old john hees, was located in the second-floor southwest bedroom lying face down on the floor in a large pool of blood. Mr. Hees was pronounced dead at the scene. It was later determined the crime was an apparent residential robbery.
