On august 5, 2013, at approximately 3:48 a.M., a call was received for shots fired in the 1700 block of north 22nd street. Police units soon arrived to the area of north 22nd and w streets where an officer found a male in the middle of the street. The victim, later identified as lesean cosby, was not conscious or breathing and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He later succumbed to his injuries at vcu medical center.Officers were told at the time of the murder, a dark-colored 4-door sedan approached cosby on north 22nd street. Two individuals exited the vehicle, shot cosby and quickly fled the scene. Police don’t believe the suspects were known to the victim.
