On monday, march 22, 2004, at approximately 6:30 pm members of the seventh district responded to 2837 robinson place, se, for a reported shooting. Upon arrival on the scene, they located the body of michael antonio smith in the hallway of the building suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck area. On friday, march 26, 2004, at approximately 6:40 am, the victim succumbed to the injuries that he sustained and was pronounced dead.
