On january 21, 2016, at 9:24 p.M., the lvmpd dispatch center received several 9-1-1 calls from multiple people reporting several gunshots at 4870 luxor way. Patrol officers and medical personnel were dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, officers located a black male adult, later identified as kelvin johnson, who was unresponsive. Johnson was transported to umc trauma center where he was pronounced deceased. Witnesses stated an unknown black male suspect approached the vehicle where johnson was sitting and fired several shots killing johnson. The suspect is described as a black male being approximately 5’7” to 5’10”, thin build, wearing a dark hooded jacket and jeans. He ran through the parking lot and jumped over a wall where he was picked up by a white suv.Agency
